How To Make Msi Afterburner Bigger Written By Ross Standery Saturday, 23 July 2022 Add Comment Edit I'm on a 1024x768 screen. Now before anyone says "buy a new screen" or "who even uses that resolution these days", I don't have the coin, and there is nothing I tin do about information technology unless your going to buy me a screen... The settings menu used to fit fine on my screen though. Information technology wasn't until recently it seems that the settings menu was resized and locked at that size. As for information technology not fitting, I can't access the height tab buttons. VThawj New Member Messages: 1 Likes Received: 0 GPU: Try this for a temp "fix". When you lot click on settings, hit tab on the keyboard until it cycles through all the options it will be on top after information technology reaches the bottom options. Then use the pointer keys to navigate the tiptop tabs of the settings menu. You should be able to reach the other settings. Tried information technology myself so information technology should work. It should have been made to resize to fit the resoultion though. rewt Maha Guru Messages: 1,279 Likes Received: xv GPU: Catch the edge glass and move the window. Unless there is something I'm missing, you can't motion windows without using the titlebar (which, is not visible). I found a solution though, I tin can only move my taskbar to the left or correct side of the screen, then that lets me see the peak expanse enough to do settings. Hopefully though the window is just shrunk down or fabricated to scale with resolution later though so this won't exist needed. Unwinder Moderator Staff Fellow member Letters: xv,960 Likes Received: 3,435 It was already commented a few times and it won't alter. 1280x1024 is the minimum required resolution for Afterburner, we won't take lower resulutions into account when creating GUI. I just have to wonder though... why? I mean Afterburning works fine on 1024x768, in every case, except the settings menu, and that of all things doesn't need to even be that big :/ In that location is maybe an inch or two of whitespace on the bottom of the Monitoring, Video capture, and User Interface tabs (not to mention huge amounts of whitespace on the other tabs). If that space was simply removed, and the window scaled to reflect that alter, there would exist no trouble with the 768 height. Every bit for the minority running low-res screens, what about most laptop screens offer 1366x768? I estimate my 720p HDTV is out of luck as well Unwinder Moderator Staff Member Messages: xv,960 Likes Received: 3,435 No need to try to push your wishes this way delight. Have it equally a fact, information technology won't change. We DON'T support laptops as well. And never will. rewt Maha Guru Messages: 1,279 Likes Received: 15 GPU: My mistake and then. Maybe I'k thinking of Windowblinds and non Aero.. I can run Afterburner fine on a 1280x960 screen (zip cut off), just if I take Screen DPI up to medium from small, the settings card gets cut off again like in 1024x768... chillgreg New Member Messages: 7 Likes Received: 0 GPU: I utilize a 24" 1080p screen but have my DPI at 145%, so I also lose the peak of the sttings box. This setting fixes the problem for me: Right click on the shortcut and choose properties. On the compatibility tab, put a tick in the box "Disable display scaling on High DPI settings". k1net1cs Ancient Guru Messages: 3,783 Likes Received: 0 GPU: Radeon HD 5650m (550/800) Easy 'ready' for this is to use Ctrl + Tab to change tabs, simply like changing tabs in Firefox or whatsoever other mod browsers. I recently switched to an older CRT screen though with a res of 1280x960 (still "unsupported" by Afterburner, yet it fits only fine on 100% DPI, only non on medium dpi, which is default in WCP) which is working fine currently.
